Our Story

At the heart of Easton, in the iconic building of the former Exeter Arms, we introduce you to a fresh chapter in the tale of Mediterranean flavors. Many might recall the renowned Mattoni in Peterborough; with El Camino, we carry forward that legacy while offering a refreshed culinary experience.

Our dishes, inspired by regions like Italy, Spain, and Greece, evolve regularly, inviting our guests for a new gastronomic adventure with each visit. Whether you’re enjoying an evening in our elegant dining space, the bar, or the tranquil courtyard, we aim to craft moments worth cherishing.

Reviews from our customers

“Lovely old building, cosy inside with large patio area at the back. Ample parking. Warm friendly atmosphere, staff attentive without being over the top. We arrived early but they were not phased by this and invited us in, other places would have told us to come back later. The kitchen opened early and we had a wonderful meal, I can recommend the cheese soufflé and the steak fillets, my wife had the Heritage tomato and the salmon. The food was well presented and extremely tasty. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it is so rare to experience such fine food outside a capital city.”
